Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Expert knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures for the role.
• Ability to plan and accomplish goals using extensive experience and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new technologies and processes related to product development and/or enhancements.
• Identify and evaluate new materials and technologies for factory use.
• Conduct tests on materials or finished products to ensure quality.
• Analyze failure data and lab results to determine causes and solutions.
• Use statistical and engineering tools to assess and validate new processes.
• Provide risk assessments on existing equipment and processes and direct testing of procedures.
• Design tooling requirements and coordinate with machine shop for availability.
• Generate technical reports and document procedures/specifications.
• Review product plans and advise on material selection for design objectives.
