Job summary

Lam Research in United States (Oregon) seeks a senior Process Engineer to develop advanced process formulations, define hardware to meet specs, analyze data, and coordinate design requirements to ensure compatibility of processing methods.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, lead projects, and work with customers to drive adoption of new technologies across semiconductor roadmap efforts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in relevant field with 12+ years of experience, or PhD with 8+ years’ experience
• Laboratory and semiconductor equipment experience preferred
• Familiarity with SPC/DOE and analytical techniques

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering R&D and evaluation for Lam’s semiconductor equipment
• Review and enhance processing techniques used in manufacturing and fabrication
• Develop and sustain new processes to reduce costs and increase yields
• Analyze test data to determine next steps and process specifications
• Collaborate across functions to plan, collect data, and report on customer demos
• Partner with customers to understand roadmaps and business challenges
• Contribute to next-generation product development and release activities
• Provide leadership to process technicians and guide execution
• Lead projects selecting innovative concepts for process development
• Work with customers to adopt new technologies at sites
