Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, OR is seeking a Process Engineer 2 to operate cutting-edge semiconductor processing methods. You will develop formulations, define hardware, evaluate test data, and ensure compatibility of processing methods to support next-generation devices.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s with 2+ years’ related experience or graduate eligibility, plus familiarity with SPC/DOE, MATLAB, and analytical techniques in a lab environment. Hybrid on-site/remote work options are available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with no experience.
  • Graduate eligible role.
  • Experience with semiconductor equipment and surface preparation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct process research, development, and evaluation for semiconductor equipment and systems.
  • Review and enhance processing techniques used in fabrication.
  • Develop and sustain new processes to reduce costs and increase yields.
  • Analyze test data and establish next steps for process development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare data and report customer demos.
