Job summary

CyberCore is seeking a Process Engineer 3 in Elkridge, MD. The role focuses on applying process improvement methodologies to enterprise-level processes, facilitating project teams, and coordinating the transfer of new practices.

A key part of the job is leading assessment teams and ensuring integration of engineering efforts across multiple projects. Applicant must have active TS/SCI with current polygraph.

Qualifications

• Apply PI methods and enterprise-level process improvement
• Facilitate project teams to meet objectives
• Coordinate transfer of new processes to teams
• Lead assessment activities (formal and informal)
• Define readiness for assessment with systems teams
• Promote and train in Process Improvement best practices
• Lead processes using CMM/CMMI or similar models
• Document and institutionalize engineering discipline processes

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule process assessments
• Analyze assessment results and make improvement recommendations
• Assess progress and report findings
• Assist in defining Process Improvement strategy
• Develop plans for process assessments (informal and formal)
• Work with systems and software teams to determine organizational readiness
• Lead assessment teams in conducting formal and informal assessments
• Ensure results feed into improvement plans
• Provide detailed feedback to management and customers
• Configure and troubleshoot UNIX/Windows systems as needed
• Support dispatch system and hardware problem resolution
• Lead continuous process improvement initiatives (lean six sigma)
