Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions is seeking an experienced Process/Automation Engineer for a growing, highly automated food and beverage manufacturing operation.

The role offers relocation assistance and opportunities to influence process design, optimization, and equipment performance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 5+ years of process, chemical, or mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or other high-speed manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Siemens and/or Rockwell controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement and root-cause analysis around equipment capability, efficiency, utilization, downtime, and recurring production losses.
• Support capital projects, equipment installations, process scale-ups, validation, and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process specifications, CAPAs, change controls, preventive maintenance strategies, and regulatory documentation.
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
