Job Description

• Safely performs cylinder filling, including connection/disconnection, valve manipulation, and parameter oversight.
• Controls and adjusts parameters to optimize production quality and quantity, conducting tests and checks.
• Acts as a first responder in emergencies and initiates safety procedures.
• Performs primary & secondary cylinder handling operations, routine maintenance of the loader.
• Oversees the movement of empty cylinders (unloading, sorting, inspection) and full cylinders (picking, loading) using forklifts.
• Adheres to safety procedures (e.g., lock-out, confined spaces) and utilizes protective equipment.
• Complies with quality procedures for both process and final product analysis.
• Records daily production data, tracks events, and completes incident reports.
• Reviews SOPs, P&IDs, PFDs, and other plant-specific technical documents.
• Actively engages in safety meetings and works towards achieving safety objectives.
• Identifies and proposes improvements for processes, procedures, and safety based on risk analysis and incident reviews.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in chemical process related operations or production
• Possess good leadership competency with high level of stress tolerance
• Strong customer service mindset with readiness to respond to customers on a 24-hr basis.
• Good knowledge of field / process instrumentations and DCS / PLC operating systems.
• Possess analytical skills in troubleshooting and knowledge in gas handling and field processing.
