Job description

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support a client in the Life Sciences sector. The role involves both project-based and operational engineering responsibilities across biotech manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities :

The scope includes equipment preparation, buffer / media batching, cell culture, purification, drug substance bulk fill, and analytical operations, among others.

Project & Technical Support

• Act as Engineering Technical Lead or SME for process equipment during new product introductions (NPIs) and site projects.
• Support equipment selection, facility layout, utility assessment, and project cost / schedule planning.
• Lead or contribute to commissioning and qualification activities (FAT / SAT, IQ / OQ / PQ).
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings and provide timely issue escalation.

Operations & Equipment Support

• Own assigned equipment to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for equipment breakdowns.
• Implement CAPAs and change controls to maintain validated state.
• Drive improvements in asset lifecycle management and maintenance strategies.
• Support readiness for new product introductions or product changeovers.
• Leverage data analytics and best practices to drive operational efficiency.
• Benchmark and improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Identify innovation opportunities to support sustainable operations.
• Provide guidance to CQV engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to build capability through training and lessons learned.
