Position Overview

BAE Systems is seeking a hands-on, experienced Process Engineer to contribute to our EWIMC factory during the first shift. This individual will demonstrate leadership skills that support process engineers and the factory team, influencing both the internal team and external integrated product teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain production line stability while driving continuous improvements, manufacturability, and root cause analysis.
2. Partner with suppliers and design teams to ensure designs are producible and maintainable.
3. Lead manufacturing process improvements, resolve production issues, and implement solutions within a lean manufacturing environment.
4. Collaborate with functions such as supply chain, quality assurance, program office, NPI engineering, and product engineering.
5. Balance leadership responsibilities with task management as needed.

This role involves working onsite in both office and production environments.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of process engineering or related experience.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous leadership experience in a high-tech environment.
• Familiarity with Mil-Standards such as Mil-STD-883, IPC-610, and soldering standards.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with standards like AS9100 and AS9145.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, onsite, during first shift. Salary range: $95,106 - $161,680, based on market data and individual qualifications.
