Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Steel Frontend Process Control Engineering Manager to strengthen cost, quality, and delivery across the casting process. You will coordinate hourly inspectors, salaried engineers, and technicians to deliver measurable improvements.

You will lead PFMEA planning, drive Six Sigma initiatives, mentor belt training, and partner with manufacturing to reduce scrap, optimize processes, and meet financial goals across investment casting and related materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Materials Science, or equivalent proven process experience.
• Minimum 3 years in process control and process improvement.
• Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and coordinate improvements.
• Travel to support benchmarking and supplier activities.
• Vision Certification (First Inspection) capability.

Responsibilities

• Improve cost and quality across wax molding to shell removal processes.
• Develop annual Process Control Plan and a 3-year vision for process improvements.
• Lead data-based decision making and mentor Black Belt training projects.
• Support manufacturing with process changes, tooling improvements and defect reduction.
• Lead Process Response Teams and drive supplier requirements.
• Provide support for nonconforming product.
