Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Process Control Supervisor LPCS Front-End in Portland to lead improvements across wax molding, casting, and shell removal.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams from manufacturing, engineering and process control to deliver measurable gains in cost, quality and delivery. Responsibilities include planning PFMEA-based improvements, mentoring inspectors and engineers, and driving Six Sigma and zero-defect initiatives across the plant while supporting supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Materials Science.
• Minimum 3 years in process control and process improvement.
• Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Willingness to travel for benchmarking and supplier activities.
• Vision Certification (First Inspection) ability to certify.

Responsibilities

• Lead process control improvements to reduce Scrap, cost and quality defects.
• Develop and execute a Process Control Plan through PFMEA.
• Guide hourly inspectors and process control engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering and suppliers on improvements.
• Mentor data-based decision making and Six Sigma initiatives.
