Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Electrical) with a minimum of 5 years in the process industry.
• Experience with Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation.
• 5+ years of DCS experience in a chemical processing plant.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at local and cross‑functional levels.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide process control engineering support to Operations for guidelines to operate plant safely and manage risks.
• Manage DCS commissioning activities including loop checks.
• Perform Enterprise Historian administration (OSI PI).
• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (HAZOPs, What Ifs).
• Comply with Management of Change (MOC) processes and integrate changes.
• Carry out MOC action items and report incidents; assist investigations.
• Manage I/O and SIS functional checks and review plant safety loops/alarms for reliability.
• Implement control strategies in DeltaV, Rockwell, PLCs, and HMIs and support new equipment projects.
• Develop process control modifications for safety, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.
• Support site IT for network reliability and historical data; provide on-call DCS/PLC support.
• Work within safety and environmental rules and structured workflows.
