Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science; minimum 2 years in automation programming.
Familiarity with PLC programming and SCADA programming is essential.
Experience with databases, visual basic, networking, servers, MS Office, plant electrical systems and instrumentation.
CAD experience and knowledge of electrical testing meters are preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain safe working conditions to achieve zero lost time injuries.
Collaborate with engineering and production to refine process design and control systems.
Lead use of electrical, instrumentation, and process control elements to ensure quality with minimal manual control.
Design systems to collect quality control data and production reporting information.
Manage the Process Change Request system and maintain documentation.
Provide troubleshooting for PLC/SCADA and related hardware; 24/7 coverage as needed.
Support RAM Engineering to plan and execute capital projects; manage costs and start-up.
