Qualifications

5–10 years in Process Control/Automation systems architecture and configuration.
Able to review loop sheets and P&IDs and interpret control documentation.
Proficient with standard MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

Implement, design, and configure DCS, PLC, and VFD systems; maintain design specs.
Troubleshoot paper machine finishing and converting systems (Winder, Calendar Reel, Wrapline).
Support optimization and Advanced Process Control implementation across the mill.
Troubleshoot installed systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency; support process operations.
Act as a project resource for new instrumentation or control/automation installations.
Collaborate with corporate teams to deploy new technologies for advanced manufacturing.
Support mill safety program through personal and observed actions.
Work with mill personnel to identify opportunities and solve problems.
