Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Process Automation and Control Engineer to join our North American Engineering Hub. You will lead automation projects, implement cyber security measures, and provide global operational support to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The role requires a proven track record in controls engineering, deep knowledge of DCS platforms (DeltaV, 800xA, Foxboro or Rockwell), and strong leadership across multi-site teams.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in controls engineering.
• 10+ years in chemical/petrochemical/pharma manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record leading control-focused projects.
• Experience with DCS platforms (DeltaV, 800xA, Foxboro, or Rockwell).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Expertise in modern control philosophy and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of automation for capital projects, from design to commissioning.
• Champion safety by adhering to process safety work processes in the field.
• Serve as technical authority on all project aspects, ensuring industry standards are met.
• Collaborate with site leadership, engineering teams, and vendors for seamless execution.
• Monitor milestones and deliverables, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver control system configuration services for North American sites.
• Provide automation support to operational sites for lifecycle management and cybersecurity.
• Occasional travel for commissioning or related activities (NA, SA, APAC).
