Job summary
Solenis is seeking a Process Automation and Control Engineer to lead automation projects within our North American Engineering Hub. You will drive design, engineering, and commissioning, while championing safety and delivering high-quality control solutions globally.
The role requires deep DCS expertise, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate with sites, vendors, and engineering teams. Occasional travel across regions is expected.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Controls Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years in Chemical / Petrochemical / Pharmaceutical environments.
- Proven track record leading control-focused projects.
- Travel ~25% domestically and some international.
- Expertise in modern DCS and production instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of automation portions of capital projects from design to commissioning.
- Champion process safety work practices in the field.
- Serve as technical authority ensuring deliverables meet standards.
- Collaborate with site leadership, engineering teams, and vendors.
- Monitor milestones, ensure safety compliance and quality.
- Provide control system configuration services for NA sites.
- Support life cycle management and cybersecurity for automation.
- Occasional travel for commissioning across regions.
