Job summary
Truist in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Problem Management Automation and Reliability Engineering Senior Technology Operations Consultant to reduce toil by automating repetitive tasks and performing live problem management.
The role builds ServiceNow workflows, dashboards, and scripts, with emphasis on secure, auditable systems in a regulated financial environment; in-office role 5 days a week, no visa sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field and significant experience.
- Minimum of 7 years in technology operations with cloud and infrastructure focus.
- Strong governance, risk management, and compliance experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technology operations for an assigned area with limited supervision.
- Develop and maintain standards, runbooks, and governance patterns.
- Lead large initiatives designing technology solutions and improvements.
- Evaluate new technologies and automation to improve efficiency.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to engineers.
- Translate objectives into practical technical roadmaps.
- Monitor metrics and logs to drive continuous improvements.
- Serve as technical contact for vendors and partners.
- May lead high-priority incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Diagnose and resolve recurring problems across teams.
