Job summary

Baker Tilly International in Tewksbury, MA seeks a High Net Worth Tax Principal to lead our private wealth practice and advise wealthy individuals, families and family offices on income tax, estate and gift planning, and cross‑border issues. You will mentor staff, manage engagements and contribute to growth with client leadership.

Requirements: CPA or JD, 10+ years in tax planning for high‑net‑worth clients, 6+ years supervising staff, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional client service

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or law required.
• CPA or JD required.
• 10+ years of tax planning and consulting for wealthy individuals, family members and their trusts, investment entities and private businesses.
• 6+ years of supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service and maintain high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities.
• Manage multiple engagements delivering proactive tax planning and strategic consulting including federal, estate, gift, charitable planning and generation skipping tax.
• Advise on business succession planning and keep up-to-date on tax developments and authorities.
• Build relationships inside and outside the firm to acquire new clients and revenue.
• Support growth and development of team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
