Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a hybrid Mortgage Loan Operations associate to support mortgage loan submissions, underwriting readiness, and closing. You will collaborate with mortgage bankers, coordinate with title and operations teams, and maintain client communications to ensure smooth transactions.

The role expects a Bachelor's degree with mortgage lending experience or a high school diploma with extensive lending experience, plus familiarity with Encompass LOS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year mortgage lending ops experience or high school plus 5 years experience.
• Experience with Encompass LOS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submit clear, complete mortgage applications with timely processing.
• Clear loan conditions and guide closing, including wire requests as needed.
• Proactively communicate loan status to clients and coordinate with teams.
• Manage mortgage banker pipeline and back up when team members are unavailable.
