First Citizens is seeking a Mortgage Sales Support specialist to assist in the sales, servicing, and management of clients and referral sources. The role handles critical mortgage documentation, updates loan process statuses, and supports marketing activities in lending.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with mortgage/financial industry experience and SAFE Act registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with 2 years' sales or service experience in financial industry or mortgage.
• Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to cross-sell banking products.

Responsibilities

• Sales Support: schedules appointments, handles inquiries, coordinates events to assist management of clients and referral sources in lending activities.
• Documentation: manages critical documents (POC, disclosures, loan apps) and prepares file packages.
• Sales & Marketing: assists with client communications, sales materials, and event participation.
• Loan Proficiency: stays updated on loan processes and regulations to support client questions.
