Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Support Specialist in Boston within a hybrid role. You will partner with a mortgage banker to gather client information and route it to underwriting, mortgage operations, or middle office to ensure a smooth mortgage transaction experience.

You will manage client communications and a mortgage banker’s pipeline, coordinating across relationship teams and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) with 1 year mortgage lending ops experience; Encompass LOS preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years mortgage lending ops experience.
• Experience with Encompass LOS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Application Submission: submit clear, complete applications for underwriting processing and disclosures.
• Loan Closing: clear loan conditions and expedite transaction to closing; coordinate with title and closing agent.
• Client Communication: update clients on loan status; coordinate with team; may include evenings/weekends; send documents via DocuSign.
• Pipeline Management and Leadership: manage a mortgage banker’s pipeline; liaise with internal teams; back-up in absence.
