Job summary

IQ-EQ, a leading investor services firm, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant with 5+ years in private equity or related accounting to join our US team in Frisco. You will manage fund accounting tasks, journal entries, investor allocations, and investor communications, coordinating with auditors and tax teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in private equity, public accounting, or related environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with strong accounting and fund admin expertise.
• Excellent client service and collaborative mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple Private Equity fund clients, manage deliverables, expectations, and timelines per partnership agreements.
• Prepare and review fund accounting activities: journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models.
• Oversee investor communications, financial statements, and year-end requirements with auditors and tax teams.
• Respond to client requests, manage priorities, and identify process improvements.
• Mentor and develop junior team members ensuring high-quality reporting.
