Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Associate in Private Equity Fund Accounting to join our Client Services team in a permanent full-time role. You will work with leading private equity and hedge fund clients, supporting financial reporting, allocations, and compliance under guidance from senior staff.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a 3.0+ GPA and have 3+ years of Private Equity experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook, Word, and ideally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a 3.0+ GPA and 3+ years in Private Equity or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Support client leads across multiple Private Equity funds.
• Collaborate with manager, team and support functions to meet client expectations and deliverables on time.
• Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations and compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices and waterfall models.
• Manage audits, year-end processes, assist onboarding of new team members, and suggest operational improvements.
