Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in private equity, public accounting, or a combination of alternative asset investment and public accounting environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with strong technical expertise in accounting and fund administration for alternative investment funds.
• Exceptional client service while collaborating effectively with team members and contributing to a positive, feedback-driven environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, produce high-quality work with accuracy, and maintain professional communication.
• Experience training and mentoring junior team members is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple Private Equity fund clients, helping manage deliverables, client expectations, and timelines per partnership agreements.
• Prepare and review fund accounting activities, including journal entries, investor allocations, capital account statements, management fees, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models.
• Oversee delivery of investor communications, financial statements, and year-end requirements while coordinating with auditors and tax teams.
• Respond to client requests, manage competing priorities, and identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiencies.
• Mentor and develop junior team members while ensuring high-quality service and accurate reporting across engagements.
