Job summary

IQ-EQ Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join our Private Equity team. You will support fund clients, manage deliverables, and ensure timely reporting with strong client service.

The role requires 5+ years in private equity or related fields, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office. A hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in private equity, public accounting, or a combination of alternative asset investment and public accounting environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with strong technical accounting and fund administration expertise.
• Exceptional client service and collaborative teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office; mentoring junior members.

Responsibilities

• Manage deliverables, client expectations, and timelines for multiple Private Equity fund clients.
• Prepare and review fund accounting activities: journal entries, investor allocations, capital accounts, management fees, capital calls, distributions, waterfall models.
• Oversee delivery of investor communications, financial statements, and year-end requirements with auditors and tax teams.
• Respond to client requests, balance priorities, and identify process improvements.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to ensure high-quality reporting.
