The ideal candidate has 4–14 years in private equity fund accounting, deep knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, and proficiency in PE platforms (Investran, eFront, Allvue) complemented by strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s in accounting/finance; CPA/ACA pref.
• 4–14 years in private equity fund accounting or alternatives.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, waterfall mechanics, and investor economics.
• Proficiency in PE accounting platforms Investran, eFront, Allvue and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for fund structures, investor economics, waterfalls, and carried interest calculations.
• Guidance on complex accounting treatments (equalizations, FX remeasurement, side letter economics).
• Support AVP/VP in interpretation of fund governing documents and accounting policies.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Validate capital activity and ensure fund-term compliance.
• Prepare and review financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS.
• Assist in valuation processes and fair value application.
• Support regulatory reporting (Form PF, Annex IV) and investor tax packs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and drive system enhancements.
• Coach junior accountants on accounting concepts and system usage.
