Job summary

Voya Investment Management seeks a senior professional to lead end-to-end valuation for private debt investments, partnering with investment teams, finance and risk to ensure valuations are well governed and properly supported.

You will challenge methodologies, maintain robust documentation and drive oversight across external providers, governance forums and regulatory requirements while mentoring staff and collaborating with auditors and clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in valuation or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of financial metrics, capital structures and financial statements.
• Experience with ASC 820 Fair Value measurement is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation oversight for private debt, commercial mortgage loans, infrastructure debt and related illiquid assets.
• Review and challenge valuation methodologies, inputs and conclusions to ensure defensible fair value determinations.
• Oversee provider due diligence, methodology reviews, and performance monitoring of external valuation providers.
• Develop and evolve valuation governance, policies, procedures and escalation processes.
• Mentor valuation professionals and partner with cross-functional teams to address valuation matters.
