Job summary

Neuberger seeks a Finance/Accounting lead to manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for NB Private Credit, including NAV, waterfalls, and investor statements. You will coordinate with auditors and tax professionals, while monitoring budgets and cash forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–12 years accounting/finance experience; CPA required.
• Experience with credit related products is a plus.
• Experience designing and implementing new policies and procedures.
• Highly detail oriented and organized; strong deadlines discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer service focus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal daily direction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for NB Private Credit.
• Lead monthly close packages, NAV, allocations, waterfalls, fund returns.
• Supervise investor reporting, audits, and due diligence responses.
• Assist cash forecasting and debt facility oversight.
• Maintain expense ledger and budgeting processes.
• Ensure compliance of fund credit facilities and asset portfolio knowledge.
• Analyze large portfolios and perform reconciliations and tests.
• Review performance fees and respond to investor queries.
• Support audit and tax professionals; assist with regulatory requests.
