Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Senior for Private Client Services to provide tax compliance and advisory services to high net-worth clients, estates, foundations, and related entities. The role emphasizes leadership, client service, and collaboration within a boutique practice environment.

You will supervise staff, conduct complex returns, perform technical tax research, and contribute to business development while delivering timely, accurate tax solutions across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting, or consulting/professional services experience, required
• Experience in private client service, preferred
• Prior basic supervisory experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Participates in tax and consulting engagements and enhances skills addressing client needs
• Gathers information with clients and advisors to prepare tax returns
• Prepares complex returns (individual, trust, estate, S-Corp, foundation, partnership, and gift tax) for Federal and State jurisdictions
• Reviews basic returns and provides feedback to staff
• Analyzes tax notices and drafts responses
• Conducts advanced tax research and provides recommendations to PCS leadership
• Works in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment both independently and with a team
• Prioritizes and completes tasks
• Builds relationships with other professionals inside and outside the firm
