Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Senior for Private Client Services to deliver tax compliance and consulting to high net-worth individuals and families. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of tax experience, CPA or equivalent, and a background in private client service.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting, or consulting/professional services experience.
• Experience in private client service is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs.
• Gathers information to prepare tax returns with clients and advisors.
• Prepares complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, and entities; reviews returns and provides feedback.
• Analyzes tax notices and drafts responses.
• Performs advanced tax research and recommends solutions to PCS leadership.
• Works in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and collaborates with the team.
