Job summary

Citizens Bank seeks a Senior Private Bank Closer to join the Commercial Loan Operations team in an on-site role with one remote day. You will close complex CRE/C&I loans, prepare closing documents, and ensure conditions precedent are met in line with credit approval.

This position requires deep knowledge of loan documentation, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to manage a busy pipeline while coordinating with internal partners and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial loan closing and knowledge of CRE and C&I practices.
• High-touch, customer service experience and strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and ability to use Laser Pro.
• Independent, self-starting, and able to manage a pipeline with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior loan closer and subject matter resource for the team.
• Close and document loans per credit approval, review documentation and conditions precedent.
• Prepare closing documents and accurately book complex loans.
• Manage a loan pipeline of multiple transactions with clear, timely communication.
• Coordinate with sales, legal counsel, and third parties to clear pre-closing conditions.
