Job summary

Faire is hiring a Senior Counsel, Privacy & Product to help our teams build and ship a global wholesale marketplace that handles data thoughtfully. This role partners with product and engineering to craft practical solutions and advise on a range of legal topics.

Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will be the in-house privacy and data expert, shaping frameworks and playbooks to protect data at scale and stay ahead of evolving privacy obligations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience at a law firm, in-house, or both.
• Deep expertise in global privacy law (EU/UK GDPR, CCPA, other state laws).
• Experience counseling product teams and online marketplaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, product, data, and design teams to provide practical legal guidance on product development and GTM strategy.
• Advise on data governance, privacy, data use, information security, retention, deletion, and cross-border data flows.
• Develop and mature Faire’s data governance program with frameworks, processes, and playbooks.
