Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of U.S. privacy and cybersecurity laws and standards
• Experience with data protection, data retention, data usage and data security
• Strong analytical, problem solving and written/oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Advise on privacy issues and data protection strategies
• Review and negotiate privacy-related agreements (DPAs, BAA, etc.)
• Coordinate incident response and breach reporting with IT and Privacy leadership
• Collaborate with IT Security to align privacy and security programs
• Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance on privacy regulations
• Support regulatory inquiries and investigations related to privacy and data security
• Update policies to ensure compliance with privacy laws
