RingCentral seeks a Senior Privacy Counsel to serve as the primary privacy legal advisor supporting our product teams developing AI-first communications and contact center solutions for multinational customers. The role requires balancing complex legal requirements with cutting-edge cloud technology, translating privacy laws into actionable guidance for engineers and product managers.
You will lead PIAs/DPIAs, partner with Security, and stay ahead of evolving AI privacy regulations.
Formación
- 6+ years of legal experience focused on data privacy.
- Direct experience counseling product teams on privacy requirements.
- Deep working knowledge of major global privacy laws and their application to product innovation.
- Understanding of AI governance and implications for privacy.
Responsabilidades
- Advise Engineering and Product teams on privacy throughout the development lifecycle.
- Lead PIAs and DPIAs for new features and services.
- Collaborate with Information Security to align privacy with security controls.
- Monitor legal developments impacting RingCentral’s privacy posture and practices.
- Support incident response activities with privacy documentation and expertise.
- Maintain records of processing activities, data locations and subprocessor processing.
