Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy Compliance to lead and mature our global privacy program. You will assess legal risk and guide technical and business stakeholders on responsible data use, building scalable compliance processes that align with evolving privacy laws and AI innovations.

You will manage worker privacy, DSR programs, and privacy tooling, partnering with Legal, Product, and Engineering to translate complex requirements into practical policies and playbooks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant legal experience in‑house or at a law firm.
• Strong working knowledge of US privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, GLBA) and familiarity with GDPR.
• Experience building or maturing privacy programs.
• Technologically adept with AI and emerging technologies.
• Comfort engaging with technical stakeholders on data flows and systems.
• Ability translate complex regulations into practical policies and playbooks.
• A learning mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity with evolving law/tech.
• JD and active Bar admission in at least one US state.

Responsibilities

• Provide actionable guidance to cross‑functional teams to enable smart risk.
• Manage Intuit’s privacy programs including governance and regulatory compliance.
• Own DSR compliance across US and global jurisdictions (CCPA, GDPR, etc.).
• Improve privacy tooling and processes, including automation opportunities.
• Advise on privacy‑by‑design principles for new technologies.
• Translate regulations into scalable policies, playbooks, and training.
• Monitor global privacy developments and update programs accordingly.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
