Job summary
Omnicell is seeking a Senior Analyst, Privacy to join the Legal Department as the privacy advisor for Product, Innovation, and R&D teams. You will embed privacy-by-design across the product lifecycle, lead PIAs/DPIAs, and advise on data use for research and analytics, including secondary uses of Protected Health Information.
You will partner with Product and Commercial to shape privacy strategy for market-ready offerings.
Qualifications
- Lead privacy impact assessments and data protection assessments for new products and initiatives.
- Document data flows and RoPA to support governance.
- Translate privacy requirements into practical development guidance.
Responsibilities
- Embed privacy-by-design across product lifecycle to enable speed-to-market.
- Lead PIAs/DPIAs for new products, services, and tools in the innovation pipeline.
- Advise on data minimization, retention, and de-identification strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering on consent management and data controls.
- Map data flows and contribute to RoPA and data inventory.
- Review vendor data rights and BAAs in relation to innovation.
- Assess privacy implications of AI/ML features and cloud offerings.
- Develop scalable privacy assessment templates and playbooks.
- Deliver privacy training for product, engineering, and R&D teams.
- Align privacy strategy with commercial and compliance goals.
