Job summary

Medica seeks a Privacy Investigation Analyst to manage and improve Medica's privacy program. You will investigate privacy incidents, coordinate with compliance and legal teams, and ensure regulatory reporting is timely and accurate.

The role reports to the Corporate Compliance Privacy Manager and collaborates with the Director, VP, and business leads. Office presence at Minnetonka, MN, ~3 days/week is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 5+ years of work experience beyond degree.
• Knowledge of Managed Care and/or Health Insurance Marketplace.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and related privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effectiveness of Medica's Privacy program by maintaining policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Serve as privacy liaison with business associates or customers and ensure breach reporting timelines.
• Audit and measure compliance program effectiveness and regulatory implementation activities.
• Assist with implementing Compliance training for Medica employees, vendors, and providers.
• Perform additional privacy duties as assigned.
