Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Strategic Deterrent Systems division in Roy, UT is seeking a Senior Principal Test Engineer to join our AVE On Board Test Equipment team, supporting the Sentinel program.

You will define test requirements, develop test plans and procedures, execute readiness reviews, integrate hardware, interface with software and systems engineers, and mentor junior engineers. A DoD Secret clearance is required; relocation may be available; benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout).
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Experience with software and/or hardware testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer needs into test solutions within schedule and cost constraints.
• Direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for subsystems.
• Coordinate integrated testing activities.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor to junior engineers on the On Board Test Equipment Team.
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness; perform system-level evaluations.
