Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience or higher degrees with proportional experience.
• Experience in systems engineering and/or systems safety engineering on complex systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform system safety engineering across the lifecycle: hazard identification, analysis, tracking, mitigation.
• Develop and maintain safety requirements and ensure allocation, implementation, and verification.
• Conduct analyses such as PHA, FHA, SSA, FMEA/FMECA, FTA as applicable.
• Plan and execute safety validation, define acceptance criteria, and corroborate with test data.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate safety into design decisions and verification plans.
• Prepare safety documentation and artifacts for internal reviews and customer deliverables.
• Present findings and recommendations to program and customer stakeholders.
