The position requires a Secret clearance, 2–5 years (Level 2) or 5+ years (Level 3) in STEM, and experience with safety analyses and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active US Government Secret clearance or higher (requires recent BI).
• Experience with system safety analyses and safety documentation.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform system safety activities across lifecycle: hazard ID, analysis, tracking, mitigation.
• Develop and maintain safety requirements, allocation, verification.
• Conduct PHA, FHA, SSA, FMEA/FMECA, and FTA as applicable.
• Plan safety validation, define acceptance criteria, and verify evidence.
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and test teams on safety decisions.
• Prepare safety artifacts and support reviews and customer deliverables.
• Present findings and risks to stakeholders; support issue resolution.
