Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, Utah, is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to own the Test System Performance Specification for the Sentinel Program.

You will act as SME and technical owner, guiding the level 1 test specification from early design through PDR and coordinating with Sentinel leadership to advance product maturity. The role requires strong requirements management, systems engineering expertise, and proven collaboration with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

8 years with Bachelors in Science; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD
US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance
Experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations
Experience with requirements development in DOORS

Responsibilities

Serve as SME and technical owner of the level 1 test specification for the Sentinel Program
Coordinate with Sentinel leadership and customers to mature the SPS
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure proper requirement allocation and verification
Brief program leadership and stakeholders on the Test System Performance Specification
Mentor teammates and support knowledge transfer across the program
