Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (level 4) to join its Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role involves decomposing requirements, owning environments, and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure successful test and integration.

The position requires 8 years with a Bachelors, 6 with a Masters, or 4 with a PhD, U.S. citizenship, and an active DoD Secret clearance. Completion of vendor reviews and test procedures will be part of daily work.

Qualifications

8 years with Bachelor's in Science; 6 years with Masters; 4 year with PhD.
Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with ability to obtain SAP approval.
Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 environment test methodology and tailoring.
Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-344, MIL-HDBK-310, RCC 319 and DOORS v7.X.

Responsibilities

Decompose parent level requirements into lower-level requirements; own environments for equipment.
Review internal and external vendor performance specifications and verification.
Support Design Reviews and Test Plan/Procedure/Report reviews.
Witness testing as the Cognizant Environments Engineer; review ESS procedures.
Coordinate with REs and System Test for readiness; interface with vendors and customers.
