Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM field and 8 years of related experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
- U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience collaborating with engineers from multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Plan and mentor the team to execute Specialty Engineering tasks across domains.
- Perform analyses such as FMECA, FTA, and SHA in collaboration with design engineers.
- Lead safety programs from planning to safety acceptance with Safety Review Boards.
- Serve as lead Specialty Engineer in design reviews and customer meetings.
- Support bidding and proposal activities with the Specialty Engineering Manager.
- Work with Systems Design Engineering to verify requirements for Specialty domains.
