Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. seeks a Senior Principal/Senior Staff Systems Engineer to join the Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) group in Roy, Utah.

The role supports ICBM launch systems and cross-team integration, driving lifecycle design decisions and requirements management. The candidate will engage with multi-tier teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to system definition, verification, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance within the last 6 years.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM from an accredited university.
• 5+ years related experience; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD.
• 2+ years experience in Systems Engineering across lifecycle phases.
• 2+ years direct development experience of interface products and requirement specs.
• 1+ years experience in DOORS governance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering processes & analyses for product designs to prove successful integration.
• Lead and drive interface and requirement design solutions to meet program objectives.
• Foster engagement across diverse teams; mentor and coach SEIT and other teams.
• Participate in technical planning, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses.
