Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking qualified professionals for roles in hardware and software security engineering with US DoD clearance requirements. The position requires a US citizen with a Secret clearance and readiness for security screening; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

BS in STEM with 5 years of experience; 3 years with MS; 1 year with PhD.
US Citizen with active DoW Secret Clearance with an investigation in the last 6 years.
Minimum 2 years applying Systems Security Engineering principles.
Minimum 2 years communicating technical approaches clearly.
Demonstrated experience with vulnerability management.
Experience in HDL (VHDL/Verilog) RTL.

Responsibilities

Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risk for hardware and firmware components.
Research, analyze data, and derive facts per identified vulnerabilities.
Participate in working groups and customer meetings; communicate risk with stakeholders.
Contributes to program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones for Hardware Assurance.
Review security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
Ensure secure architecture; support design, development, implementation, and integration of security systems.
Support MDT with other duties as assigned.
