Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a SR Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist in Linthicum, MD to support the FTAP Foundries team. The role oversees subcontractors, material budgeting, and forecasting to keep programs on schedule. U.S.

citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required. The position involves coordination across buyers, planners, and suppliers, with opportunities in CAM/EVM-related tasks and strategic supplier development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with experience in supply chain or business management.
• Experience with procurement and subcontract execution workflows.
• Experience with manufacturing and purchasing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage large subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Ensure on-time release of requirements, PO placements, and delivery dates.
• Manage material budgets and support baseline/EVMS reporting.
• Forecast material costs/performance and support CAM to assist EAC activities.
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities related to material requirements.
• Analyze lead times and identify critical procurement paths.
• Monitor supplier capacity and address production issues.
• Support proposals (BOE, CBOM) and supply chain strategy development.
