Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a qualified SR Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist in Baltimore, MD, to support the Advanced Land Sensors Operating Unit–GATOR Production Team. Responsibilities include managing material plans, budgets, and lead times to ensure program success.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience (or a Master’s with 6+ years), manufacturing exposure, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of supply chain and/or business management experience or Master's with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Program execution experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
• US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Manage on-time release of requirements, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
• Manage material budgets for contract requirements and support baseline/EVMS requirements.
• Provide accurate reporting and forecasting of material cost/performance for assigned programs.
• Serve as CAM to support PLATO/CEAC/EAC activities.
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities related to material requirements.
• Analyze material lead times and identify critical path procurements.
• Monitor and address supplier capacity and production issues.
• Support program proposals (BOEs, CBOM reviews).
• Contribute to development of supply chain strategies and supplier risk management.
• Coordinate program activities among buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, customers, and suppliers.
