Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist with experience in supply chain management, budgeting, contracts administration, and EVMS. The role sits in Northrop Grumman’s Tactical Fighters Business Unit within the Mission Systems Sector, supporting the ATP Production and related programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant experience in business, finance, or supply chain management.
• Experience with budgets, EVMS, CAM, and contract administration is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
• Manage material budget for contract requirements, supporting baselining/EVMS.
• Forecast material cost and performance for assigned programs.
• Act as CAM to support PLATO/CEAC/EAC activities.
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities related to material requirements.
• Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
• Monitor supplier capacity and production issues.
• Maintain business acumen for fast-paced production with leading-edge suppliers.
• Support program proposals (BOE creation, CBOM review).
• Support development of supply chain strategy including supplier development and risk management.
• Liaise with buyers, planners, subcontract admins, scheduling, customers and suppliers.
• Represent NG in PMRs and leadership briefings.
