Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking engineers to develop and lead software requirements and designs within an Agile framework at the East Hartford site. You will decompose system requirements, document traceability, and participate in iterative prototype testing and verification activities.

The role emphasizes DO178B familiarity, safety-critical software development, and collaboration within the CDS department. Onsite work with relocation considerations applies to a long-term aerospace program.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 10 years engineering experience or an advanced Degree with 7 years prior engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or lead software requirements and designs within the Agile Framework.
• Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into software requirements and designs.
• Document traceability or rationale for derived requirements and designs.
• Conduct iterative prototype testing of requirements and designs.
• Perform reviews of requirements and designs.
• Participate in software planning, estimating and tracking.
• Produce software requirement and design specifications.
• Perform and/or lead software verification within the Agile Framework.
• Develop and execute electronic bench test scripts.
• Evaluate / review test results.
