The role emphasizes real-time, multi-threaded C/C++ development, RTOS familiarity, and strong systems integration capabilities, with an on-site work model and security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• An advanced degree may count for additional years of experience.
• Experience with C and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design interfaces across distinct products in collaboration with external partners.
• Interpret requirements, design, code, test and integrate new features in C.
• Perform lab configuration and maintenance of software environments.
• Attend Software Review Boards (SRBs) and Change Control Boards (CCBs).
• Analyze data from systems and test events to inform development.
• Collaborate with systems, integration and test engineers to define system requirements.
• Represent the software team in program-level discussions and align with program objectives.
