Job summary
Ramboll in Houston seeks a Principal to lead site investigation and remediation programs, leveraging environmental consulting expertise and strong client relationships to grow the practice across soil, groundwater and redevelopment projects.
The role requires 15+ years in environmental consulting, an engineering degree (Environmental/Civil/Chemical) or related field, and professional licenses; you will manage projects, teams, and regulatory compliance while mentoring others for long-term
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master/PhD in Engineering or related field (Environmental, Civil, Chemical preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting focusing on site investigation and remediation
- Successful track record in business development and client relationship management
- Relevant professional licenses and/or certifications
Responsibilities
- Lead site investigation and remediation programs for contaminated media (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air)
- Manage client relations, projects, and staff across multiple sites
- Navigate regulatory agency relations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
- Mentor and develop junior staff to build future leadership
